OBJECT
VVF operates Camping de la Fontaine and as such markets holidays at this campsite.
The purpose of these general terms and conditions is to define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the rental of camping pitches, rental accommodation, gîtes or holidays offered on its various campsites by VVF de la Fontaine to the customer, from the website, www.campinglarmorplage.fr but also by telephone, post or e-mail, or in a place where the service provider markets the services.
They do not apply to pitches rented for mobile leisure homes which are covered by a leisure contract.
INFORMATION
The customer has access to all information online on the website or by e-mail. They can also obtain further information about the services offered by the campsite by telephone or e-mail.
Prior to booking, the customer acknowledges having been informed of these general terms and conditions of sale for rental and stays, and of all the pre-contractual information relating to the main characteristics of the stays.
The choice and purchase of a service is the sole responsibility of the customer. The purchase of a holiday implies that the customer accept beforehand of all of these general terms and conditions.
The General Terms and Conditions express the entirety of the obligations of the parties.
These general terms and conditions for renting and booking stays at the VVF de La Fontaine campsite apply to the exclusion of all other conditions.
VVF de la Fontaine reserves the right to modify its general conditions from time to time. They will be applicable as soon as they are put on line.
No right of withdrawal and cold calling

Under article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal for distance selling does not apply to contracts for the sale of accommodation, transport, catering and leisure services that must be provided on a specific date or at a specific time.
When their telephone details are collected, customers are informed that they have the option of registering on a free telephone anti-solicitation list, for example: https://www.bloctel.gouv.fr/.



SERVICES
Camping pitch
VVF de la Fontaine provides a bare pitch for up to 6 people - for a tent, caravan, camper van or van.
For safety reasons, under no circumstances may a pitch be occupied by more than 6 people, except in the case of a specific pitch with a different capacity.
For more than 6 people, an additional pitch will be charged (except for specific pitches with a different capacity).
The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to the pitch to anyone exceeding the planned capacity.
The customer accepts the site as is (trees, plantations, etc.).
Rental accommodation on the campsite
The accommodation is described on the website www.campinglarmorplage.fr - the description of the accommodation can be found in the Accommodation section of the website.
Accommodation is designed for a specific number of occupants and may not be occupied by a greater number of people.
Young children or babies are counted as persons in their own right. Pets are accepted provided they are notified on arrival and the supplement has been paid.
Tents may be erected on the allocated plot subject to approval by the management. Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the accommodation, as a courtesy and for safety and hygiene reasons.
The accommodation is fully equipped - personal linen can be brought in or hired - cleaning at the end of the stay and tidying up are the responsibility of the customer, who may leave them in their own care or be billed.
Cleaning: the customer must leave the accommodation clean. If necessary, he/she can take out the 85 euro cleaning option that can be chosen in the services.

PRICE
Prices are given in euros and include VAT at the official rate at the time the holiday is booked. The total cost of the holiday includes the price of the pitches and/or rental accommodation, any additional services chosen, booking fees and any cancellation insurance.
Prices include any discounts granted by the campsite.
These prices are valid for the duration of the season as indicated on the prices/rates document available on the website www.campinglarmorplage.fr by entering the dates of stay.
After the end of the current season, the offer lapses and the campsite is no longer bound by the prices quoted for the previous season.
The price is a flat rate per night of occupancy.
The basic package includes a 1 or 2 person installation and a vehicle.
Electricity is available at extra cost, depending on the category of pitch chosen - with or without electricity.
Additional persons (adults and/or children) or any additional items (trailer, car, animal, tent, etc.) are subject to a daily surcharge.
The basic package gives free access to the campsite facilities (toilets, reception, swimming pool - if available on site and on the dates and times of opening), to the play areas and to the activities on offer, both free and paying.
Pitches are allocated automatically on the basis of the equipment and its size, which must be specified by the customer when booking.
If the tent exceeds 4m by 8m, it is essential to contact the campsite in advance.
VVF de la Fontaine cannot be held responsible if the customer does not indicate the information concerning the equipment when booking and the pitch allocated is not suitable.
Only one additional piece of camping equipment is permitted per pitch (either a small tent, a small barnum or a kitchen tent).
BOOKING FEES

A €6 booking fee applies to all bookings (rental accommodation and pitches). They do not apply to stays of less than 3 nights.
Their amount is never included in the price of the services.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

Booking conditions

Reservations can be made online at www.campinglarmorplage.fr, by telephone on 02 97 33 71 28 or by e-mail to accueil.larmor-plage@vvfvillages.fr, or by post to VVF de la Fontaine, Rue de Quéhello, 56260 Larmor-Plage.

Customers enter their choice of holiday. Pitches, accommodation, ancillary services, options - offered by the campsite.
Reservations become effective once the campsite has sent confirmation by e-mail, and once the deposit (30% of the stay plus booking fees) has been received and cashed.
This written confirmation of reservation contains the details of the reservation made by the customer as well as information relating to their stay.
It is the customer's responsibility to check the accuracy of the order and to inform the campsite of any errors.

Payments

Full or partial payment of the stay makes the booking definitive.
2 situations :
The customer pays all or part of the cost of the holiday by credit card when registering on the website: the booking will become effective and a holiday contract will be sent to the customer.
The customer wishes to use another method of payment: on receipt of the holiday contract, the customer has 10 working days from the date of registration to send payment (deposit or balance) to VVF to confirm the booking. After this time, the booking will automatically be cancelled.

The following methods of payment are accepted: - Credit card (Visa, Mastercard) - Bank cheques made payable to VVF - Bank transfers - ANCV holiday vouchers (made payable to VVF), Chèque-Vacances Connect. ANCV holiday vouchers must be sent to the La Fontaine campsite by registered post to the following address: VVF de la Fontaine, Rue de Quéhello, 56260 Larmor-Plage

Bookings made more than 30 days before departure: payment of a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the holiday, 100% of the booking fee and the cost of insurance, if taken out. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the holiday.

Bookings made less than 30 days before departure: payment of 100% of the total cost of the stay, booking fees and the cost of any insurance taken out.

Failure to pay the balance within the above-mentioned deadlines will be considered as a cancellation on the part of the customer, who will not be able to arrive on site. VVF will be entitled to retain, on the sums already paid, a sum corresponding to the cancellation costs, as well as the reservation and insurance costs, which are never refundable.

HOLIDAY TAX

The tourist tax is collected on behalf of the commune/communauté de communes; it is not included in the rates. The amount is determined per person per day, and may change during the year. It must be paid on site.


PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

Promotional offers are subject to certain conditions. Discounts and promotional offers are not cumulative unless otherwise stated and are not retroactive. Due to promotional offers, some customers may have paid different prices for the same holiday. Customers who have paid a higher price may not under any circumstances be reimbursed for the difference between the price they have paid and the promotional price from which other customers have benefited.

ALLOCATION OF PITCHES / ACCOMMODATION/ AND VEHICLE PARKING

Pitches and accommodation are allocated without distinction in the order in which bookings are registered. VVF cannot under any circumstances guarantee that the pitch or rental accommodation requested by the customer will be allocated unless the customer has chosen the preference option at the time of booking, this option being offered subject to availability on the date of booking. Nevertheless, in the event of force majeure, VVF reserves the right to change the allocation of the pitch or rental accommodation.

For the peace and quiet of campers, only one vehicle is permitted on the campsite. Depending on the period, an additional vehicle may be allowed at an extra cost.
Vehicle trailers are extra and limited to one per pitch.
Other vehicles must be parked outside the campsite.

PROVISION OF PITCHES AND ACCOMMODATION

Check-in at reception is compulsory as soon as customers arrive at the campsite. It constitutes proof of the start of the customer's stay. As soon as they have checked in, customers can use the facilities and services offered at the campsite
Pitches: available from 2pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12pm on the day of departure.
In order to preserve the peace and quiet of the campers, no vehicles may be installed or accessed after 11pm.
Rented accommodation is available from 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. All rentals are by name only and may not be transferred or sublet.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

RENTAL ACCOMMODATION

STATE OF PLAY

An inventory of fixtures and fittings must be carried out by the customer on arrival, and any defects found must be reported the same day to the campsite reception. An inventory will be available to customers on arrival, who must validate it or make any complaints on the same day or by 12 noon the following day at the campsite reception.
An inventory of fixtures will be carried out on the day of departure. In the event of night-time or early departure without an inventory of fixtures, the deposit will be retained and returned at a later date, subject to any deductions for cleaning or repairs. The decision to leave without an inventory of fixtures is equal to an acceptance of the campsite's decision to withhold all or part of the deposit.
The accommodation must be returned in the same state of cleanliness as on delivery. If the accommodation is not returned in the same condition as it was delivered, the tenant will be required to pay a flat-rate cleaning charge of 85 euros.

GUARANTEE DEPOSIT

Any damage to the accommodation or its accessories and equipment will give rise to additional costs for the customer according to the list in the inventory and/or the estimate from the craftsman or the builder of the accommodation.
For rental accommodation, when the keys are handed over, a deposit of 300 euros is required from the customer. This can be paid by bank transfer, cheque or cash.
This will be returned to you at the end of your stay, after you have checked out.
This deposit may be used by the campsite to recover: the cost of any cleaning not carried out by the customer on the day of departure (up to a maximum of 85 euros), the cost of any damage caused by the customer to the accommodation (up to a maximum of 300 euros). Costs relating to the loss of keys given to the customer on arrival (up to a maximum of 15 euros per key).
In the case of multiple accommodation bookings, a deposit of 300 euros per accommodation will be required on arrival.

Rental of ancillary equipment - Ancillary equipment deposit

Customers may hire additional equipment (fridge, baby kit, extension lead, adapter, games) when booking or directly from the campsite reception during their stay. The equipment hired is deemed to be returned to the customer in good working order. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the equipment hired is used in a normal and reasonable manner and to take all necessary precautions when using it.
The return of non-compliant equipment or the non-return of ancillary equipment may result in a deduction being made from the security deposit paid for the rental accommodation, or in a request for compensation for the amount corresponding to the cost of replacing the damaged or non-returned equipment.

INTERNAL REGULATIONS

Rules and regulations are displayed at the campsite entrance. They are also available at the campsite reception. It is the customer's responsibility to read them and respect them.
In the event of failure to comply with the provisions of the internal regulations or of damage, violence, failure to respect others, failure to pay for the stay, failure to respect accommodation capacity, VVF and the campsite manager reserve the right to terminate the stay early, without refund or compensation. In particular, customers' attention is drawn to the fact that there must be complete silence between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m.
All rental accommodation is non-smoking.






ACCESS TO THE SWIMMING POOL

In accordance with swimming pool hygiene standards, only swimming briefs and boxer shorts, one-piece and two-piece swimming costumes are permitted, as opposed to any other clothing. Occasional visitors are not entitled to access to the swimming pool and must pay the entry fee according to the current rates displayed.




ANIMALS

Pets are accepted under the responsibility of their owners and for a daily fee. This fee is not included in the price of rental accommodation or pitches. Exception: except during the period of validity of the ACSI card and only on pitches.
Only one pet is allowed per accommodation or pitch; the pet must be notified at the time of booking or on arrival.
Pets must be kept on a lead. èreièmeDangerous or aggressive animals (1 or 2 category dogs) are prohibited.
In the event of non-compliance with these conditions, VVF reserves the right to terminate the stay early, without refund or compensation.

CHANGE

Changes made by the customer :

The customer may modify the booking of his stay - dates, type of accommodation, options - on request, and subject to the availability and possibilities of the campsite, up to 10 days before the date of arrival.

The campsite will make every effort to accommodate the request, but cannot guarantee the requested change. Requested changes may result in additional charges and changes to prices.
If it is not possible to make a change, the customer will have to make the stay under the original booking conditions or cancel it in accordance with the campsite's cancellation policy.




Changes made by VVF:

In the event that the campsite is obliged to modify the services initially planned for the stay, the campsite will make every effort to provide similar services, and the customer may accept the modification or cancel the stay and obtain reimbursement of the sums paid.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation by VVF may have to cancel a holiday due to exceptional and unavoidable circumstances preventing it from fulfilling the contract. In this case, the customer will receive a full refund of the sums paid but will not be entitled to any additional compensation.

Cancellation by the customer :

In all cases, the booking fee remains the property of VVF and the amount of the comprehensive insurance, if taken out, is non-refundable.

Depending on the date of cancellation - which must be confirmed in writing to VVF or to the Campsite - the following costs will be deducted as compensation for VVF, from the total amount shown on the holiday contract (sums received by VVF as payment of holiday costs), excluding administration costs and insurance:

More than 45 days before the arrival date: 5%.
Between 45 and 21 days before the arrival date: 30%.
Between 20 and 8 days before the arrival date: 50%.
Between 7 and 2 days before the arrival date: 75%.
Less than 2 days before the arrival date: 100%.

In the event of no-show on the arrival date, no refund will be made. A period of 24 hours will be allowed in relation to the day and time of arrival mentioned on the order confirmation email, which is considered to be the holiday contract, without however any compensation for the night not spent; after this period, the booking will be cancelled and 100% cancellation charges will apply). The rental accommodation or camping pitch will then be offered for hire again.

Early departure is tantamount to cancellation by the customer for the unused period of the stay and will not give rise to any refund, whatever the reason.





INSURANCE

Customers will be offered the option of taking out multi-risks insurance prior to booking. Multi-risk insurance covers cancellation, damage to luggage, late arrival, traveller assistance, vehicle assistance, interruption of stay and holiday civil liability. An extension is also offered to cover the risks associated with epidemics and pandemics. In accordance with the previous article, the Cancellation guarantee allows, under the conditions provided for by the Multi-risk insurance and its extension, the reimbursement of the sums retained by VVF, with the exception of any excesses indicated in the conditions, the amount of the booking fees and the amount of the subscription to the Multi-risk insurance and extension, if applicable. The customer has a 30-day cooling-off period from the date of subscription, in the case of multiple insurance policies and provided that no claim has been reported. After this period, the subscription is definitive and cannot be reimbursed. If the customer is not already covered by a personal insurance policy, it is strongly recommended that they take out these policies. Rates, conditions and cover are available on the campinglarmorplage.fr website. The comprehensive insurance offered and its extension do not include personal accident cover: customers are therefore advised to check their personal cover and to supplement it, if necessary, with the organisation of their choice.

RESPONSIBILITY

VVF is responsible for the proper execution of all the holiday services included in the customer's contract in accordance with article L.211-16 of the French Tourism Code.
VVF may not be held liable if the non-conformity is the result of a case of force majeure, the unforeseeable and unavoidable act of a third party outside the holiday contract or is attributable to the customer, in accordance with article L.211-17 of the same Code.
In any event, VVF's possible liability will be limited by the texts governing the liability of its service providers and suppliers, in accordance with article L.211-17 of the French Tourism Code. In addition, and in accordance with the same article, VVF's liability is limited to three times the total price of the holiday. Services not provided by VVF (sporting activities, excursions, etc.) as well as any activity provided by an external service provider and taken on the sole initiative of the customer, are the exclusive responsibility of the service provider in charge of organising them.

Customers are advised to take out civil liability cover (personal injury and property damage), personal accident cover and holiday theft cover.

In addition to its legal liability, the Campsite shall not be held liable in the event of :
- theft, loss or damage of any kind during or after a stay. Camping Le Justin declines all responsibility in the event of theft of or damage to personal belongings both in the accommodation and in the customer's equipment on the pitches or in communal areas. VVF cannot be held responsible in the event of theft or damage to customers' personal belongings. VVF also declines all responsibility in the event of an incident for which the client is liable.

- breakdown or decommissioning of technical equipment, breakdown or closure of campsite facilities, occasional measures taken by the campsite management to restrict access to certain facilities, including access to the swimming pool, required to comply with safety standards or for periodic maintenance work; the campsite expressly reserves the right to modify the design and layout of the site.

All photos and text used on the website are non-contractual and for information purposes only.

RIGHT TO IMAGE

The activities organised by the campsite may be filmed or photographed and the images may be offered to customers at the end of their stay on various media. Customers who do not wish to be photographed and/or filmed must inform the management in writing at the start of their stay.

PERSONAL DATA

The data collected at the time of booking is used to process the order and manage the booking. This processing is carried out on the basis of the contract. It may also be used, with the customer's express consent, for the purposes of commercial communication or promotional operations. VVF may store, process and/or transfer this information to its internal departments or to third parties (such as insurance companies, transport companies, sub-contractors, reception, technical and banking service providers, etc.), who will only have access to this data for the purposes of the order and related services. This data is kept for 5 years after the end of the contractual relationship. In accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) of 27 April 2016 and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 in force, the customer has the right to access, rectify, limit and object on legitimate grounds, a right to be forgotten and the right to portability of their personal data, subject to the applicable legal and regulatory provisions. For any information or to exercise their rights regarding the processing of personal data managed by VVF, customers may contact its Data Protection Officer (DPO) by completing the online form at www.vvf.fr/formulaire_des_droits or by post (with a copy of their identity document if they wish to exercise their rights, unless the information provided in their request enables them to be identified with certainty) to the following address: VVF - for the attention of the Data Protection Officer (DPO) - 8 rue Claude Danziger - 63100 Clermont-Ferrand cedex 2. If, after contacting VVF, the customer considers that his or her rights with regard to his or her data have not been respected, he or she may lodge a complaint directly with the CNIL.

LANGUAGE OF THE CONTRACT

These general terms and conditions of sale and any transactions arising from them are governed by and subject to French law.
These general terms and conditions of sale are originally written in French. Should they be translated into one or more foreign languages, only the French text will be deemed authentic in the event of a dispute.

DISPUTES - COMPLAINTS

If a customer notices that a service is not being provided as expected, or if he/she finds himself/herself in difficulty, he/she must promptly notify the campsite manager in order to settle the dispute on the spot or to obtain assistance.

*Complaints concerning the constitution and management of the reservation file must be sent to VVF within 30 days of the return, by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt to the following address: VVF - Relations Vacanciers - 8 rue Claude Danziger - CS 80705 - 63050 Clermont-Ferrand cedex 2.
*In all cases, claims must be accompanied by the appropriate supporting documents. Failing this, the case will not be given priority. If no satisfactory response is received within 60 days, the customer may refer the matter free of charge online to the Médiation du Tourisme et des Voyages: www.mtv.travel.
