PREAMBLE – SCOPE OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
• The term “Camping” used in this document designates the Lou Gourdan campsite, located av. Bischoffsheim, 06260 Puget-Theniers, France; SIRET number: 51021372100036; Art. 293B of the CGI; RCS registration: Nice 510 213 721.
• These general terms and conditions automatically govern all sales of stays made on the www.campinglougourdan.com website or made manually (by post, by
telephone or on site).
• They are an integral part of any contract concluded between the campsite and its customers. Each customer acknowledges having read these general conditions prior to
any booking of a stay, for himself and any person taking part in the stay.
• In accordance with the law in force, these general conditions are made available to any customer for information purposes prior to the conclusion of any contract of sale of
stays. They can also be obtained on the website or by simple written request addressed to the establishment.
ART. 1 – BOOKING CONDITIONS
For rental accommodation:
Low season (April-May-June): Dates at your convenience. Reservation possible from one night.
High season (July and August) Per week, only from Saturday or
Sunday.
Low season (September-October) Dates at your convenience. Reservation possible from one night.
For pitches: throughout the opening period = dates at your convenience
• The reservation becomes effective only with the agreement of the Lou Gourdan campsite,
after receipt of the entire deposit requested (or total amount of the stay according to
the case), and after receipt either of the reservation contract duly completed and signed
(paper reservation), or after acceptance of the general conditions of sale during the
online booking.
• Reservations only bind the Lou Gourdan campsite if it has accepted them, which it
is free to make or to refuse, according to the availability, and in a general way, to
any circumstances likely to affect the execution of the reservation made. THE
Camping Lou Gourdan offers family-oriented stays, in the traditional sense, the
accommodations are specially designed for this purpose. The Lou Gourdan campsite reserves
the right to refuse any reservations which would be contrary to this principle, or which
would seek to deflect it.
• The reservation of a camping pitch or a rental is made as
strictly personal. Under no circumstances can you sublet or transfer your reservation.

1.1 GROUP RESERVATION
• Any reservation of more than 2 accommodations by the same natural person or by
different natural persons but who know each other and travel together for the
same motivations and on dates of stay overlapping over the majority of the duration of the
stay, is considered a group.
• The accommodation offered on the Lou Gourdan campsite website is addressed
exclusively for individual customers.
• For any group booking request, you must contact the
campsite Lou Gourdan by telephone or e-mail. The campsite reserves the right to study
the reservation request before its acceptance or refusal.
1.2 RATES AND TOURIST TAXES
• The prices indicated are only valid for the current year. They correspond to a
night or a week depending on the package and are in euros.
• If a reservation request concerns a stay for a subsequent year, this cannot be
will only be processed after the publication of the new tariffs (generally around mid-November).
• The amount of tourist tax is payable per adult (person over 18) and
by night. The value listed in the tariff is likely to change in the event of a decision by the
common during the year (very rare). The tourist tax is not included in the price
of the stay as indicated on the website.
1.3 PAYMENT TERMS
1.3.1 Amount of the deposit
A deposit of 30% of the total amount of the reserved services must be paid.
1.3.2 Payment term
• The deadline for payment of the deposit is 15 days after the confirmation of the reservation
by the campsite.
• If you have used the internet booking and payment by credit card, the campsite
will debit the deposit when sending its confirmation.
• When paying by post or bank transfer, and if the period for payment of the deposit
is close to expiry, the customer must notify the campsite by telephone or email in order to
to facilitate the booking process.
• Exception: For a reservation less than 7 days before arrival, the deposit must be paid
in full on the day of booking. If payment of the deposit is made by bank transfer
banking, the proof of the execution of the transfer must be presented to us during the day.
1.3.3 Method of payment
• The following payment methods are authorized in all circumstances:
Bank card (Carte Bleue, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro), cash payment on site,
ANCV holiday vouchers.
• Payments by check are authorized to settle deposits and balances
only when the operation takes place at least 15 days before the date of arrival (Check payable to
the order of the Lou Gourdan campsite).
• Payment by bank transfer: accepted for payment of the deposit. For the settlement of
balance, payment by bank transfer must be made at least 7 days before the start of the
stay. The RIB of the Lou Gourdan campsite is sent by email on request.
IMPORTANT: During a transfer, Label/Sender: Indicate the name used during the
reservation and the customer number.
1.4 NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The legal provisions relating to the right of withdrawal in the event of distance selling
provided for by the Consumer Code are not applicable to the services
tourism (article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code).
Thus, for any order for a stay at the campsite, the customer does not benefit from any
right to retract.
ART. 2 – CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATIONS
2.1 MODIFICATION OF YOUR RESERVATION
Before the date of arrival, the Customer may request the modification of his stay (dates and/or
type of accommodation and/or quantity of optional supplements) on written request
with the campsite (mail or e-mail) to the extent of availability and possibilities.
No postponement will be accepted for the following season. In the absence of modification validated by
the campsite, the customer must make his stay under the initial booking conditions
or cancel it according to the cancellation conditions detailed below.
• Any request to increase the duration of your stay will be carried out according to the
availability and current rates.
• Any request to reduce the duration of your stay is considered as a
partial cancellation. This part of the stay will be subject to the cancellation conditions
detailed below. Any offers and reductions depending on the length of stay
will also be modified over the maintained period.
2.2 UNUSED SERVICES
• Any stay interrupted or shortened (late arrival, early departure) by you does not
cannot give rise to a refund. Arrival and departure times: see article 3.1
and 3.3.
• Optional supplements (number of people, children, electrical connection,
rental of sheets, etc.) will be deducted from the amount of the stay according to the real need expressed at
arrival at the facility.
2.3 CANCELLATION BY CAMPING LOU GOURDAN
In the event of cancellation due to the campsite, the stay will be fully refunded up to
sums collected by the campsite, except in the event of force majeure as defined by law
(unforeseeable and irresistible external events).
This cancellation cannot give rise to the payment of damages.
2.4 CANCELLATION BY THE CAMPER
(at his request or automatically in the event of breach of these
terms).
Legally, the payment of a deposit commits the customer to the full amount of the
benefit. However, the Lou Gourdan campsite wishes to put in place conditions
more flexible and can waive part of the amount legally due, depending on the
cancellation conditions defined below.
For stays in RENTAL ACCOMMODATION:
A/ Cancellation 40 days (or more) before the arrival date indicated on the contract:
refund of the deposit less cancellation fees (25€).
B/ Cancellation less than 40 days before the arrival date listed on the contract:
• In the event of force majeure*: Reimbursement identical to case A above.
• Without force majeure*: No refund of the deposit and the balance of the stay is
of.
For stays on a CAMPING PITCH:
A/ Cancellation 15 days (or more) before the arrival date listed on the contract:
Reimbursement of the deposit minus administrative fees (25€)
B/ Cancellation less than 15 days before the arrival date listed on the contract:
• In the event of force majeure*: Reimbursement identical to case A above.
• Without force majeure* The deposit is not refunded.
* Cases of force majeure retained:
Death or hospitalization for serious illness or serious injury (i.e. any
alteration of health or any bodily injury observed by a doctor and involving the
cessation of all activity) of the client, his spouse, their ascendants or descendants
direct and of people to stay (provided that their identity appears in the
the reservation request or on the contract).
IMPORTANT: Cancellation insurance:
The Lou Gourdan campsite offers a cancellation guarantee which would ensure
full reimbursement of the amounts incurred (fees not included).
What to do in case of cancellation?
Inform the campsite immediately by telephone or e-mail.
Within 24 hours: Confirm your cancellation by sending the campsite a
registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt. Write your name on it,
customer number, contact details, period of stay and the reason for your cancellation.
Date and sign.
Within 5 days: Send photocopies of supporting documents to the campsite
necessary to establish your rights. Justificative documents
essential (photocopies): medical certificate specifying the hospitalization
(or similar establishment); work stoppage certificate; certificate
hospitalization; death certificate ; … Supporting documents
additional information may be requested.
ART. 3 – COURSE OF THE STAY
3.1 ON ARRIVAL
Arrival time:
• For camping pitches: The reservation is valid for arrival on the day
scheduled from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m.
• For rental accommodation: The reservation is valid for arrival on the scheduled day
from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Beyond that, the Lou Gourdan campsite can have the rental or the pitch and the
reservation will be considered void. Cancellation conditions (article 2.4)
then apply.
Additional time may be granted exceptionally on
request made before the 7 p.m. deadline.
Balance of the stay:
If this has not already been done, the balance of the stay must be paid at reception upon your arrival. THE
campsite will carry out a check of the actual services and the addition of any
supplements. Likewise, the amount of tourist taxes will be paid on arrival.
Bail :
Upon arrival, a deposit will be requested (Rentals: €300. Pitch
camping: deposit depending on the equipment requested). The deposit is retained
until departure to guarantee: any sums due, the condition of the equipment
layout and cleanliness of the rental or pitch. During your stay,
maintenance is your responsibility, even if you have taken out the end-of-stay cleaning. THE
campsite reserves the right to charge cleaning fees in the event of a breach
(€100 for rentals) and/or €70 if you smell cigarette smoke. (We you
remember that it is strictly forbidden to smoke in the rentals and common areas
camping).
The withholding of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation in the event that
the costs would exceed the amount thereof. Return of deposit: see article 3.3.
3.2 DURING THE STAY
Rules of procedure:
With or without reservation, the simple fact of staying in the establishment is worth
acceptance of the rules of procedure. This is deposited at the prefecture, displayed at our
receipt and a copy will be given to you on request.
Animals (Excerpt from the rules of procedure):
Pets are allowed in the campsite (outdoor areas only)
and inside rentals.
Restrictive conditions:
• All category 1 and 2 dogs are prohibited.
• Two pets maximum per pitch or rental.
• Access to common areas is prohibited (toilet block, relaxation room, laundry).
• In all rentals, access to beds, sheets, blankets, etc. is strictly prohibited.
• Animals must be kept on a leash at all times, have a
up-to-date vaccination, wear a collar with owner's name. They should never be
left alone in the establishment, even locked in a vehicle. The dogs must
must be out of the campsite to do their business. Regular outings are
warmly recommended. In the event of an accident, the soil must be picked up immediately by the owner.
Responsibilities (Excerpt from the rules of procedure):
• The client is responsible for monitoring his personal items (bicycles, etc.) and his
installation: civil liability insurance is mandatory (FFCC,
ANWB, ADAC, etc.). The campsite declines all responsibility in the event of an incident falling under the
customer liability. Each customer named in the reservation contract or in
registration is responsible for disturbances and nuisances caused by persons who
stay with him or visit him.
• In the event of serious misconduct, non-compliance with the reservation contract and these conditions, or
of non-compliance with the rules of procedure, its author may be expelled without any
compensation and must also repair the damage caused.
• The management declines all responsibility in the event of theft, fire or bad weather.
• It may happen that certain activities and facilities offered by the campsite and
indicated in the description in the brochure or the website are
deleted, in particular for climatic reasons or in the event of force majeure such as
defined by the French courts.
3.3 DEPARTURE
For camping pitches:
The departure time is set at a maximum of 12 noon on the day entered in the contract.
Before leaving, the customer must make a passage at the reception of the campsite at least the day before
to ensure the amounts due, and on the day of departure to return the loaned equipment and
for the return of any deposits. The campsite may also carry out a
site condition check (cleanliness, damage).
For rental accommodation:
The departure time is set at a maximum of 10 a.m. on the day indicated in the contract.
The accommodation will be returned in a perfect state of cleanliness, and the inventory will be checked during the
return of keys. Any broken or damaged object will be your responsibility, as well as the delivery
inventory if necessary. See article “3.1 – deposit”
In case of departure outside reception hours, the customer must notify the day before to
find out about the feasibility and terms. The deposit will be returned
subsequently, after unilateral control of the rental, by post or according to
convenience.
Failure to meet deadlines:
Any return of the key or release of the location after the time provided above
entails the invoicing of an additional night. Any extension of stay
must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure date.
ART. 4 – IT AND FREEDOM
The information that you communicate to us when making your reservation or when
camping registration will be considered confidential by the campsite
Lou Gourdan. They will be used only in 2 possible ways (any other
use is excluded):
• Mainly, the institution's internal services will use the data for the
processing of your order and for any subsequent service offers.
• Exceptionally or on requisition, the data may be transmitted to the security forces.
order or used during emergency procedures involving the safety of persons.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, you have a
right of access, rectification, and opposition to personal data concerning you.
To do this, simply send us a request by mail.
ART. 5 – IN CASE OF DISPUTE
5.1 COMPLAINTS
For any litigation or dissatisfaction on the commercial services of the campsite before,
during or after his stay, the client is invited to write down his suggestions and/or his
complaint in writing: either on paper dated, signed and deposited at the reception of the campsite, in the
box located outside the reception or by post; either by email. This mail will be
forwarded to the campsite management. In order to be processed efficiently, the document must
imperatively include the name, address and contact details of the customer, as well as the
dates of stay and all details allowing the context to be correctly identified.
5.2 MEDIATION
The Consumer Code (art.L612-1 et seq., and the regulatory parts
associated) lays down the framework of mediation for consumer disputes. Above all
legal procedure, the customer is requested to respect the procedure by contacting the
appointed mediator. In accordance with the law, the Lou Gourdan campsite has signed an agreement
with the following authorized centre:

5.3 JURISDICTION
As a last resort, these general conditions are subject to French law.
Only the French versions of our conditions and contracts represent the value of our
commitments. Any ambiguities in the translation of foreign versions
could be voluntary.
